Church this morning was interesting. Between tired yawns, tears of exhaustion and Ariel (or Belle) being launched over the pew in front of us a time or two, we said thanks. Thanks for one amazing year with this ball of fire. We found answers to our questions and answers to our prayers. It’s been a huge year of growth and progress for Avery, and yesterday we had much to celebrate in honor of her fourth birthday. Back in May, Avery was put on the Autism spectrum and little did we realize that shortly behind all of the therapy, appointments and consultations would come smiles, energy and so much happiness. She makes me a better person every. single. day.
For her party we celebrated all things Avery… and all things little girl. Just as my adorable signage from Pretty Paperie says, “Like stardust glistening on fairies’ wings, little girls’ dreams are of magical things.” We pulled out the ribbons, bows, fairy wings, tutus, crazy glasses and all things pink and sang Happy Birthday with messy faces and full hearts. Thank you family and friends for making her big day a special one!
